Lisa Eimers – LPCC
If you are reading this you already have my respect and admiration. Recognizing that something is not working in your life and seeking change takes courage. Each individual has their own unique struggles and it’s a big step to have a deep conversation with a professional. I am a licensed professional counselor who specializes in complex trauma, perinatal mental health, and attachment disruption. I offer a variety of services tailored to your specific needs.
In my practice, I integrate eclectic, holistic, and traditional approaches to help empower individuals to facilitate change. I work with individuals to support their own unique journey while challenging them to reach their full potential. When appropriate, I collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, and other providers to ensure the highest quality of care.
My mission is to help people who are ready to invest in their psychological and interpersonal health in order to provide the opportunity for re-connection to one’s true self. I can guide you in the process of growth and change as well as helping you free yourself from unhealthy patterns which can lead to relational issues. I work collaboratively with individuals in developing goals and treatment plans by looking at an individual’s life story which can include the past, present, and how to shape the future.
Therapy Dog in Training
Zeus, Rehabilitation Assistant
Zeus is a therapy dog. He sometimes likes to tag along with Lisa to work. Zeus can provide comfort and support during therapy sessions. However, he stays home if anyone is uncomfortable by his presence.
